Linux GPU Control Application (LACT) continues being one of the best ways to control your AMD, NVIDIA or Intel GPU on a Linux system with version 0.7.3 out now with new features and improvements.
GPU makes sense since it’s a self contained expansion card. But all your CPU and case fans connect into the mobo and they’ve started having (good) built in fan controllers for a good while now and thank god for it.
Can you change them in your bios? Most have pretty reasonable fan control curves built in.
Just make sure you enable hysteresis so they don’t bounce up and down constantly.
Yeah that was it, thanks. Strange that the GPU isn’t in there!
